Festival Start & Opening Hours
The 2026 Openair Frauenfeld festival officially kicks off on Thursday. Mit einem Early Bird oder VIP Ticket erhältst du bereits ab 08.00 Uhr Zugang zum Campingplatz.
Inhaber:innen eines regulären 3-Tages Tickets können ab 10.00 Uhr einchecken und ins Festivalabenteuer starten.
Campingbereiche & Free Camping
Basierend auf dem wertvollen Feedback der OAF-Community und den Erfahrungen der letzten Jahre gestalten wir das Camping ab 2026 klarer und komfortabler. So findet ihr immer einen sicheren und angenehmen Platz.
Daher ist Free Camping künftig nicht mehr im Festivalticket enthalten – sichere dir frühzeitig dein bevorzugtes Camping-Upgrade!
Ticketstruktur & Festivalerlebnis
Unser Fokus liegt auf dem vollen Festivalerlebnis über mehrere Tage. Deshalb konzentrieren wir uns auf Mehrtagestickets – ein 1-Tagesticket wird es nur für den Samstag geben.
Als VIP hast du jedoch weiterhin die Möglichkeit, auch für Donnerstag oder Freitag Einzeltickets zu erwerben.
What tickets are available for Openair Frauenfeld 2026?
The following festival tickets are available for Openair Frauenfeld:
- Early Bird Ticket (Thursday to Saturday) – Sold out!!
- 3-day ticket (Thursday to Saturday)

Are there no more 3-day Ticket Plus / X-MAS tickets available?
No, the 3-day ticket Plus will no longer be offered from 2026 onwards. As the festival will start on Thursday in future, the regular 3-day ticket already covers the entire festival experience – an additional ticket is therefore no longer necessary. There will also be no X-MAS ticket in 2026.
Is free camping included with the ticket?
Based on feedback from the OAF community and our experiences over the past few years, we will be providing clearly designated camping areas from 2026 onwards – so you will always find a safe and pleasant place to stay. As a result, free camping will no longer be included in the festival ticket. Secure a camping upgrade for you and your friends now!
What types of camping vouchers are available?
- Regular Camping: Your usual camping upgrade, valid for 2 to 4 persons and covering an area of 12m².
- Relaxed Camping: For those who prefer a quieter night (quiet hours from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m.). Also valid for 2 to 4 people and an area of 12m².
- Comfort Camping: Don’t feel like lugging around equipment and setting up camp? We’ve got you covered! Choose from a range of options to secure your pre-pitched tent, some of which include camp beds or proper beds.
Is there no longer VIP camping?
No, there will no longer be separate VIP camping from 2026 onwards. However, as a VIP, you can book a Regular, Relaxed or Comfort camping voucher. This means that, as usual, you will have your fixed 12 m² camping area reserved for 2 to 4 people, while still enjoying full comfort and predictability.
What new accommodation options are there instead of glamping?
With Comfort Camping, we offer an attractive alternative with a wide range of accommodation options – from basic tents to comfort accommodation with proper beds. This means there is something to suit every need and every budget.
Will there be 1-day tickets?
Our focus is on the complete festival experience! That’s why we mainly offer multi-day tickets – a 1-day ticket is only available for Saturday. However, VIPs can still purchase single tickets for Thursday or Friday.
Can I upgrade my 1-day ticket to a festival ticket for all days?
If you have a 1-day ticket and would like to attend the other festival days as well, you can upgrade your ticket via Ticketmaster. A handling fee will be charged for the upgrade. Please contact Ticketmaster Support for more information.
